Kloke recently collaborated with Katy Thomas, a freelance fashion photographer from the UK, to deliver a series of compelling and cinematic images, featuring women’s looks from the AW17 collection Boundaries.
We were excited to team up with Katy during her recent travels through Australasia; an artist who bases herself between London and the coastlines of Cornwall.
The work centres on the relationship between people and spaces; explored through the flow of colour tone, negative space and still life. The images focus more specifically on the narrative between the garments themselves and the spaces surrounding them.
Shot on 35mm film, a medium in which Katy primarily works; the images communicate a point of view, which is both whimsical and engaging, and speak to the artist’s on-going exploration into the relationship between colour flow and narrative.
