4th FLOOR ELEVATOR — MUSEUM & STUDIO

4th Floor Elevator is a modernist museum and experimental design studio in the heart of Adelaide CBD. It’s a collaboration between artists Eric (Ezroh), Dexter (Dental Jams), & Genevieve (Hype & Seek).

4FE's current exhibition is “MADE IN AUS” —a collection of objects sourced from 4FE's private collection that showcase the influence of migrant and local talents in furniture making, art, industrial design, and manufacturing in Australia between the 1950s and 1980s.

4FE's founders come from migrant backgrounds — Italian and Filipino — and have a family history of working at factories that shaped Australian manufacturing. The exhibition is a celebration of Australian manufacturing history and the quality of its production.
